SIA Top Up / Refresher Training
Why do you need to do a refresher course
From October 2021, anyone renewing their SIA Security Guard or SIA Door Supervisor Licence will need to do a 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 Course, plus a Top Up Training Course. The Security Guard Top Up is a 1 day course, and the Door Supervisor Top Up is a 2 day course. You can renew your licence up to 4 months before it expires, so please ensure you book your top up training in advance to guarantee a space on the course and time to renew your licence. This course is set by the SIA and brings licence holders up to the new standards set in April 2021.
Certification
It can take up to 10 days for the qualification to be released after completing your exams. Your details will then be sent to the SIA ready for you to apply for your renewal licence
